One Year of Drug Decriminalization in Oregon
Join us for a Measure 110 virtual forum panel discussion to celebrate one year of decriminalization!
Join the Health Justice Recovery Alliance and Unite Oregon for our next virtual forum on February 2, 2022 from 5:30-6:30pm. We’ll look back on one year of drug decriminalization in Oregon, sharing some of Measure 110’s early successes. We’ll discuss why decriminalization is an essential component of ending the racist war on drugs. Panelists will share personal stories of how the war on drugs has impacted their lives and communities, and how the trajectory of their lives may have been much different had Measure 110 been in effect during their journey to recovery. Panelists include:
Andy Ko, Executive Director for Partnership for Safety and Justice.
Mark Harris, MA, CADCI, MAC, NAACP Eugene employee and a member of the Measure 110 Health Services Policy Table.
Morgan Godvin is a student at the OHSU-PSU School of Public Health, a harm reductionist, and in long term recovery. She serves on the Alcohol and Drug Policy Commission in February of 2020 and to the Measure 110 Oversight & Accountability Council in 2021.
