Maurice Rahming is the president of O'Neill Construction Group, a MBE/DBE certified firm in Oregon and Washington. As a business owner and leader in the minority-contracting community, he is committed to investing in and cultivating a diverse workforce and community within Portland and is active on various boards and committees including but not limited to: co-chair of the Metropolitan Alliance for Workforce Equity, chair of the Community Benefits Agreement Board, chair of the Community Benefits Plan Advisory Committee, board member of the Portland Youth Builders and member of Constructing Hope’s advisory team. Maurice was appointed to the SAIF board of directors in 2014 and has worked with Multnomah County to set up a countywide legal summit on DBE utilization as well as working to actively ensure that the Oregon Department of Transportation follows federal law in regard to DBE participation. He has won numerous contracting awards from Oregon's Daily Journal of Commerce and has been inducted into the National Association of Minority Contractors Hall of Fame – an organization for which he served as vice president.
